These tumors occupy a nonfunctional space and are often able to grow into a considerable size before clinical manifestations; these masses are treated surgically but pose a significant challenge to neurosurgeons. Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare tumor accounting for 4% of all brain neoplasms, <10 cases have been described in the literature.
